Sichuan: Jiulong Xian. Tanggu Cun. Jichou Shan. First pass from Jiulong on road from Jiulong to Kangding. Meadows at pass, scree slopes and dwarf Rhododendron scrub on less steep slopes and tall Rhododendron scrub on leeward-facing slopes. 29°20'3"N, 101°29'58"E; 4365-4620 m.
Scrubby slope. Shrubs 20-40 cm tall; leaves spicy fragrant when bruised; corolla purple.
