Yunnan: Fugong Xian: Lishadi Xiang. Vicinity of the N fork of the Yamu river, ca. 0.7 km E of Shibali logging station, on the road from the Nujiang to Yaping pass, E side of Gaoligong Shan. Mixed evergreen and deciduous broadleaved forest. Lithocarpus and Schima dominate with scatted Tsuga and some deciduous Acer and Betula. 27°9'47"N, 98°47'4"E; 2467 m.
Growing on steep slope in forest. S-facing. Loam. Base rock: granite. Slope 0-10°. Tree. Fruit orange to brown. Common.
