Qinghai: Yushu Xian. SW of Machang, in a side valley on S side the Baitang He basin. Heavily grazed valley; bottom with very short meadow, much disturbed, most plants collected from slopes with steep rock outcrops and low bush land. 32°49'47"N, 96°53'56"E; 4000 m.
Shrub to 1 m; branches erect; bark dark gray; leaves bicolored, with brown scales; capsule brown.
