Fasciculate in rocky soil of alpine meadow.Fruiting body 60-65 mm high X 67-70 mm wide X 45-60 mm , ±ovoid with a short tapered base; outer peridium scabrous on sides and areolate on upper surfaces, yellowish grayish brown (4C-D3-5), grayish white towards base; areolate portion revealing yellowish white inner peridium. Gleba dark brownish; columella brownish.
