Mycena aurantiomarginata (Fries) Quélet
Sichuan: Xiangcheng Xian. Yibailingba Gou. Off road from Xiangcheng to Daocheng, ca. 20 km from Xiangcheng. Gorge with steep slopes running perpendicular to road and tributary of Suoqu He. Vegetation of large Pinus and Picea and mixed smaller, broadleaved deciduous trees of Acer, Prunus spp., Rhamnus, Sageretia, Syringa, Betula, etc. throughout and large trees of Populus along stream. 29°3'30"N, 99°57'23"E; 3238-3440 m.
On leaf debris. Cap 1-2(4)cm in diam., subconical, then convex, at first purplish red, but disc dark red, then becoming orange when over mature, translucent striate, dry. Lamellae free to nearly free, gray with purplish tinge when observed from aside, edge orangish red, becoming paler when old (grayish when see aside, and with dirty orange edge). Stipe 4-7 x 0.2-0.5 (-0.7)cm, subcylindrical or slightly attenuate upwards, orange yellow to yellow, lower part with yellow hairs, stipe hollow, without juice.
