On soil and leaf debris under Pinus densata.Cap 5-8cm in diam, apex truncate, reticulate, reticulations 5-8mm in diam, or 3-5 x 7-10mm, yellow, becoming orange yellow when over mature. Stipe 10-20 x 1.5-3cm, apical part orange yellow, lower large half yellow to empire yellow, with hollows 2-3mm in diam. Volva white to whitish, 2-6mm thick, gelatinized, gleba olivaceous, rhizomorphic strands white.
