Sichuan: Rangtang (Zamtang) Xian. NE of Wengda (Sêrba). Wengda National Forest Resources Reserve Region along the Se Qu (Se River). Disturbed Picea-Abies forest with shrubs and open areas. 31°58'56"N, 100°57'52"E; 3090 m.
Steep, rocky slope; in moss on boulders. Stem and leaves red; base of sepals green or white.
