Sichuan: Xiangcheng Xian: Reda. Vicinity of the town of Reda. Dry slopes with cut over forest of Quercus, Pinus, Berberis, Cotoneaster. 29°6'11"N, 99°37'55"E; 3450-3650 m.
On ground in forest of Picea at 3450 m. Pileus 3-5 cm in diam., convex to concave, brown to ochraceous, hygrophanous, not viscid. Lamellae first pale brown, then yellow brown. Stipe 5-8 x 0.4-0.7 cm, dirty white or yellowish, dry, with a pseudo rhizome. Context brown. Taste mild.
