Sichuan: Xiangcheng Xian. Between Xiangcheng and Sandui near the village of Riyin, S of Wuming Shan. West facing slopes and seepages in mixed coniferous forest (Picea, Abies, Pinus). 29°8'28"N, 99°55'42"E; 3550-4000 m.
On ground under Pinus dentata at 3500 m. Pileus 5-9 cm in diam., convex, but disc often somewhat depressed, center yellow, margin yellow with orange tinge. Lamellae white, then becoming yellow, rarely forked. Stipe 5-8 x 1.5-2.5 cm, subcylindrical, cream colored to yellowish. Context white, unchanging. Taste mild.
