Tricholoma orirubens Quélet
Sichuan: Xiangcheng Xian: Reda. Vicinity of the town of Reda. Dry slopes with cut over forest of Quercus, Pinus, Berberis, Cotoneaster. 29°6'11"N, 99°37'55"E; 3450-3650 m.
On ground under Quercus and Picea at 3500 m. Pileus 5-7 cm, convex, obtusely umbonate, dirty white, margin often with orange tinge, densely covered with grayish brown squamules, margin with brown spots. Lamellae white, with pink tinge. Stipe 6-8 x 1-1.5 cm, whitish. Context whitish to pink. Taste mild.
