On ground in forest of Picea and Pinus densata at 3500 m.Pileus 5-8 cm in diam., convex to applanate, grayish brown, sometimes depressed in disc. Lamellae grayish, 0.5-0.8 cm tall. Stipe 6-10 x 1-1.5 cm, white above annulus, with brown squamules below annulus, becoming yellow towards stipe base. Context white in pileus, yellow in stipe.
