On ground in forest of Picea, Pinus and Quercus at 3450 m.Pileus 5-10 cm in diam., convex, center umbonate, yellow to orange yellow, with brownish squamules. Lamellae sinuate, cream to yellowish. Stipe 4-7 x 0.8-1.5 cm, with yellowish to brownish squamules. Context white, unchanging.
