Armillaria mellea (Vahl) P. Kummer
Sichuan: Daocheng Xian. Between Sandui and Litang, SW of Haizi Shan. River terraces and wet meadows with shrubs of Salix, Ribes, Potentilla, with juvenile Picea and Larix. 29°16'16"N, 100°4'56"E; 3980 m.
On rotten wood in forest of Picea and Larix at 4100 m. Pileus 4-15 cm in diam., first whitish to cream colored, then disc often brownish, margin distinctly striate. Lamellae adnate to slightly decurrent, white. Stipe 4-10 x 0.5-1.5 cm, whitish to gray, fibrillose. Context white, unchanging.
