On ground under Quercus at 3500 m.
Pileus 4-10 cm in diam., dry, first convex, then margin often reflexed, on whitish background with appressed, yellowish to brownish, fibrillose squamules. Lamellae decurrent, distant, white. Stipe 7-10 x 0.6-1.8 cm, subcylindrical, dry or sometimes slightly viscid, whitish, glabrous, or with yellowish fibrils. Taste mild. With line drawings and a slide.
