Sichuan: Daocheng Xian. Between Sandui and Litang, SW of Haizi Shan. River terraces and wet meadows with shrubs of Salix, Ribes, Potentilla, with juvenile Picea and Larix. 29°16'16"N, 100°4'56"E; 3980 m.
On ground under Picea and Salix at 4100 m. Pileus 12 cm in diam., cream colored to yellowish, dry to slightly viscid. Hymenophore adnexed, yellow, unchanging or near so. Stipe 15 x 2-3 cm, yellowish to cream colored, netted. Context white, unchanging. Odor unpleasant.
