On ground near Rhododendron (with no other trees or shrubs any more nearby!) at 4400 m.Pileus 4-5 cm in diam., reddish brown to orange, dry, sometimes slightly viscid. Pores white. Stipe 3-4 x 1-1.5 cm, fusiform, with brown to dark brown squamules. Context white, unchanging. Taste mild.
