On ground in forest of Betula utilis, Pinus densata and Quercus at 3700 m.Pileus 7-12 cm in diam., convex, red brown. Hymenophore adnexed, white, becoming very pale brown or reddish brown. Stipe 10 x 1.5-2 cm, white, with dark brown squamules; base of stipe sometimes blue. Context white, becoming pinkish; context in stipe base often blue. Taste mild. With a slide.
