Sichuan: Daocheng Xian. Between Sandui and Litang, SW of Haizi Shan. River terraces and wet meadows with shrubs of Salix, Ribes, Potentilla, with juvenile Picea and Larix. 29°16'16"N, 100°4'56"E; 3980 m.
On ground in forest of Salix and Picea at 4100 m. Pileus 4.5 cm in diam., umbonate, light brown, disc brown to dark brown; margin striate (R=1-1.4/2.5). Lamellae free, white. Stipe 9 x 0.7 cm, white. Context white, unchanging. Volva 3.5 x 1.5 cm, white, sometimes with ochraceous tinge. With a slide.
