Amanita subglobosa Zhu L. Yang
Yunnan: Dali Xian: Dali. East side of Cang Shan above the city of Dali ca. 100 m above tram terminus. Reforested slope with Pinus yunnanensis and Ericaceous shrubs. 25°39'30"N, 100°5'50"E; 2600 m.
On ground under Pinus yunnanensis at 2500 m. Pileus 4.5-9 cm in diam., convex to convex to applanate, often depressed at center, first dark brown, becoming paler (brown to brownish at disc, brownish to almost white towards margin), covered with white to dirty white, subconical to subgranular volval remnants. Lamellae white. Stipe 3.5-9 x 0.8-1.5 cm, white, base covered with whitish squamules; bulb 1.5-3.5 x 1.5-3 cm, subglobose, white, covered with small, white squamules. With line drawings.
