Sichuan: Kangding Xian. Between the cities of Yajiang and Xinduqiao off highway 318; S of Gaoersi Shan at E foot of peak called "Muzei" by local person. Alpine meadows with seepages and shrub thickets of Potentilla, Salix and dwarf Rhododendron. 30°1'30"N, 101°23'15"E; 4200-4250 m.
In wet meadow. Petals white; stylopodium dark purple. [Pleurospermum hookeri C. B. Clarke in Flora of China].
