Sichuan: Ganzi (Garze) Xian. S of Ganzi (Garze) on road (Gan-Bai Lu) to Baiyu at first pass after Ganzi. Scree slopes and small, interspersed meadow-like areas. 31°24'14"N, 99°57'58"E; 4780-4910 m.
Steep, shale slope. Involucral bracts green; florets yellow. Originally identified as Doronicum thibetanum Cavillier.
