Stony-rocky soil in open on slope below vertical rock cliff.Shrub ca. 4 m tall; mostly past flowering; corolla purple with dark purple spots on upper lobe and adjacent parts of lateral lobes. Intermixed with or near Rhododendron 37845, 37846, 34848.
