Cudonia sichuanensis Zheng Wang
Yunnan: Zhongdian (Xianggelila) Xian. Sichuan-Yunnan border area. NE side of Daxue Shan on ridge across valley running perpendicular to Daxue Shan. Alpine meadows and vegetated slopes and scree. 28°35'9"N, 99°50'14"E; 4250-4600 m.
On duff of Abies. Clavate, hymenium yellow, head ca. 1.5-3 mm in diam., stalk buff, ca. 15-25 mm tall, a remains of broken membrane-like structure present on hymenium as species of genus Spathulariopsis, ascospores hyaline, guttulate, acicular, ca. 46-66 x 2.0-2.2 um, paraphyses curved to nearly coiled. Holotype: HMAS; isotype: FH. Cited: Mycologia 94: 644-646. 2002.
