On rotten wood.Discoid, sessile, hymenium scarlet, gregarious, to 7 mm in diam., margin hairs multi-rooting, ca. 500-1500 um long, ascospores broad ellipsoid to ovoid, pustulate to irregular elongate ridged, ca. 19-21 x 12-13 um, paraphyses swollen at apex.
