Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Libert) de Bary
Sichuan: Daocheng Xian. Between Sandui and Litang, SW of Haizi Shan. River terraces and wet meadows with shrubs of Salix, Ribes, Potentilla, with juvenile Picea and Larix. 29°16'16"N, 100°4'56"E; 3980 m.
On soil by Potentilla fruticosa var. parvifolia. Discoid, concave at center, wholly brownish yellow, 2-4 mm diam, sclerotia black, irregular shaped. Sclerotial medulla of textura intricate without host tissues, cells with gelatinous walls. Ascospores 12.5-14 x 4-5 um.
