Xizang (Tibet): Jiangda (Gyamda) Xian. Along W side of Jinsha Jiang and S of route 317 (highway between Dêgê, Sichuan, and Jiangda, Xizang. Slope with scattered Juniperus (remnant Juniperus forest) and river bank dominated by Berberis, Rosa and Lonicera. 31°35'30"N, 98°37'11"E; 3040-3090 m.
Shaded slope in moss. Petals white; anthers dark.
