Sichuan: Luhuo Xian. North of the city of Luhuo on road to Sêrtar on south side of Naoze Shan just below pass. Stony roadside and adjacent heavily grazed meadow. 31°43'30"N, 100°44'40"E; 4050 m.
Among rocks on slope. Corolla purple, lower lip white near center of flower, darker toward outside, mottled. Originally identified as Nepeta veitchii Duthie.
